It's International Women's Day, so we asked six women from across the generations to share their experience of being part of the Forever family and tell us what it means to them.

Dorothy Norris

You may have seen Dorothy Norris (73) featured in national media last year – including articles in the Sunday Times and Prima Magazine. She is a former midwife and lecturer and joined Forever over twenty years ago.

“Forever has given me peace of mind financially, allowing us to top up on our pensions. It provides an income to spend on our grandchild and has given me the chance to keep my brain going and develop new skills.

“Within three years, I'd created an income to match a very good NHS pension and I was able to retire from midwifery.”

Marion Fitzgerald

Marion Fitzgerald (68) lives in Dublin and will celebrate thirty years with Forever in May.

“When I had my children, it just wasn't feasible and nor did I want to stay in a demanding operations management role in the food industry. So, I took the leap, left my job and signed up. I knew I had to replace my income and treated it like a business from day one.

“I've always worked hard and Forever is always at the forefront of my mind wherever I am going. I've always enjoyed talking to people and hearing their stories. I've always asked, ‘how can I help?'

“I've worked towards every incentive, focusing on the activity and letting go of the outcome. Through Forever, we have made our lives secure. I have peace of mind and I am so grateful for all the friendships I have made along the way.”

Diana Page

Diana Page is in her fifties and has been with Forever for over twenty years, leaving a demanding corporate marketing role where she was deeply unhappy in search of a more balanced life.

“When I started at Forever, my son was six months old and I had my second child two-and-a-half years later, so time management was key. As a mum, I have no regrets. I have raised my boys, missed out on nothing and given them the best possible start in life, including a private education.

“My Forever income has also allowed me to sponsor two children in Uganda for over fifteen years, help my extended family and have the time to embark on new interests – like triathlons and so much more.”

Sija Simela

Sija Simela (44), a locum nurse from Lutterworth, started her Forever business at the end of 2017.

“I became laser focused, attended lots of online training and set myself some ambitious goals. I realised that I really wanted to be able to make my parents comfortable financially and this just lit a fire under me. I replaced my nursing income while home schooling my three children.

“It just goes to show what’s possible when you really set your mind to something, develop the necessary skills and go for it.”

Lisa Prescott

Lisa Prescott (38) from Manchester is a former police detective and joined Forever nine years ago when thirty-one weeks pregnant with her second child.

 “I didn’t overthink getting started because, in all honesty, I knew I had absolutely nothing to lose and felt desperate with my maternity fast approaching. I didn’t want to have to return to work earlier than at least 12 months. I got started and simply did what I was shown, hoping to generate £400 extra each month.

“I replaced my full-time detective salary in just eight weeks and never returned to the police when my maternity ended, walking away from a ten-year career. The last nine years have been nothing short of life changing and I completely get how clichéd that sounds.

“Having the flexibility and no financial worries meant we could try for a third baby and that ‘baby’ ended up being twin boys. I have had all the time I need to be a full-time mummy first, all while earning a substantial full-time income around my family.”

Hasti Dehghan

Hasti Dehghan (22) is one of our newer business owners.

“I am studying pharmacy at Liverpool University. When I graduate, I am going to have considerable University debt, so I undertook and qualified in aesthetics as a way of generating an income to help. It felt like such a burden at 22 years old.

“Around my studies, I work with a number of salons and clinics providing my services in skincare which are wide ranging and include botox, fillers and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatments.

“I joined Forever in September 2022 and started retailing the products. It wasn’t until I attended the October Success Day that I fully appreciated that Forever could in fact provide more. Much more potentially than my aesthetics business.

“It all clicked into place for me. It’s fair to say that I now consider Forever my first business, not my side-line, simply because I enjoy it so much. And what we love, we want to do more of. I am so excited for what the future holds and where Forever will take me.”
